Messaging Engineer, Consultant

DescriptionMessaging Engineer: Responsible for the engineering, and ongoing maintenance of Messaging Engineering Services. Contribute to the strategy and design of the messaging services space as well as execute service and infrastructure technology plans in support of BSC s strategy. Essential Responsibilities: Operates as subject matter expert, and thought leader in messaging, and supporting technologies. Leads operational, strategic activities, and change management of all impact and risk levels. Engages in Incident Response, Audit, and Disaster Recovery practices. Directs remediation work as required internally and across departments. Initiates interactions, and represents messaging services within the organization to Enterprise Architecture, Design Engineering, and line of business units. Defines, publishes, and maintains Messaging Services lifecycle, and roadmap documentation. Identify trends, direction, and changes in new technology, advances in the computer industry and relevant systems. Identify and define research and development activities, proof of concept and prototyping efforts in relevant systems. Participates in on-call responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.


Proficient knowledge of core Messaging, and Collaboration systems such as Exchange, Enterprise Vault, Skype for Business and relevant systems. Experience in Designing, and leading the deployment Messaging environments of medium to large sizes. Expert knowledge with technologies relating to the management and flow of messages, and related collaboration technologies. Demonstrated deep knowledge of cloud environments and services related to collaboration and messaging capabilities such O365, Exchange Online, Yammer, and other relevant solutions. Proficient in working with and managing infrastructure and messaging management applications including Quest Spotlight, Unified Communications Diagnostics, and other relevant technologies. Scripting and programming experience in languages such as VBscript, Powershell, and. NET (VB, C#) with a focus on automation Broad knowledge of project management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Typically, requires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
