Come and help us make health care better for everyone.  Description  The BSC IT Security Services team is looking to add a Senior Incident Response (IR) Analyst to IT Security Incident Response team (SIRT) in support Blue Shield of California's IT security initiatives. The IR analyst will apply knowledge to monitor, escalate and respond to alerts triggered by existing technologies, services and other events reported to the team.   Responsibilities: Event monitoring, analysis, responding, and escalating IT securityevents and incidents Detection and escalation of account privilege abuse IT Security process improvement and documentation Must have a flexible schedule that is open to changing situations and willing to perform all business related tasks assigned   Qualifications  Qualifications: A degree of Science and 3-5 years dedicated to IT, IT security, and/or securityinfrastructureexperience or related field OR a combination of equivalent work experience and education   Additional Skills: Strong familiarly with monitoring and reviewing logs from network IDS/IPs and NetFlow sensors, proxy, anti-virus, data loss prevention Familiar with Health Care and HIPAA regulations Good written and verbal communication skills at different levels with the ability to articulate with both technical and non-technical audiences Team player with strong relationship building skills that assists with interconnecting and high collaboration across all IT departments - promptly shares relevant information with others Strong business acumen and a commitment to integrity, process improvement and customer satisfaction Demonstrate strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills Positive can-do outlook, rebounds quickly from frustrations, and maintains composure and friendly demeanor while dealing with demanding situations. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
