Business Analyst

Job Summary Broadridge is hiring a Business Analyst in our El Dorado Hills location. You will be responsible for capturing, organizing, documenting and validating business requirements, clarifying business requirements to the engineers/developers, and ensuring the solution developed meets the project requirements. Responsibilities: Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis You will critically evaluate information captured from various sources, reconcile conflicts, dissects high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish client requests from the underlying true needs You will actively communicate and collaborate with the client and software development team to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver Business Scoping Documents. You will utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies as required You will successfully engage in multiple initiatives, at a time You will work independently with client and internal end users to define concepts You will drive and challenge client users on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans. You will collaborate with software developers and domain experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a deep understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements A self-starter with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills Ability to write a Business Scope Report outlining the client project requirements that can be used by software developers to design effective software solutions and functionality for the clients business Ability to liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams #LI-AS1 DI JR1001446

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
