Come and help us make health care better for everyone.  Description     The Web Development Manager manages the delivery of high quality, highly available, highly performing websites and Web services applications.  The portfolio includes the suite of websites for Blue Shield of California end users, among others Members, Employers, Providers, Admin tools.   This role provides technical leadership to a development team accountable for implementing the BSC digital strategy defined by the Online & Mobile business unit as well as the individual portal owners in Customer Quality.  Included within the scope of responsibility for this role is delivering features and functionality to meet the needs of various portfolios across the organization (Health Care Reform, Shield Advance, Strategic Investments. Membership Growth).   Responsibilities: This role has very high visibility/exposure to executive management and regularly interacts with other Managers and Directors in a variety of business units.    Collaborates with UI/UX development manager and Production support manager to deliver a modern, compelling, reliable Web solutions Responsible for managing 5 - 10 employees, coaching and guiding them in their career growth End to end ownership of strategic projects, from development, to release and production support Resolves issues and remediates risks to delivery, including working with peers who are accountable for the components the web platforms depend on (infrastructure, data sources, web services) to execute successful delivery Enforces technical governance throughout the entire software development lifecycle, which includes reviewing and approving requirements, design, and development and implementation deliverables Partners with the Online & Mobile business unit to deliver strategic and operational projects aligned with the highest business priorities Collaborates with architects and technical leads to arrive at optimal technical solutions. Works with the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and the Web Product Engineering team to facilitate project intake & demand, and assigns resources to most efficiently meet business needs. Manages technical work done by multiple vendors using onshore/offshore resources Manages dependencies of multiple complex projects in an environment with a high level of interdependency, change and ambiguity Holds vendor resources and internal team accountable for their deliverables Executes a hiring and on boarding plan as needed to support the business   Qualifications   5+ of prior IT managerial level experience. 5+ years of application development experience. Experience in coaching and growing talents. Fluent in the Web Systems technologies: Java/J2EE, Web application servers, Portlets, Spring, Content Management System, SOA, API, Databases, Linux, Security, system integration, HTML, CSS, Javascript. Experience with Agile methodologies.  Ability to influence cross-functionally and at all levels. Possess wide range of technical leadership skills necessary for leading and working side by side with tech leads, developers, system analyst and architects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audience Excellent problem solving and critical thinking. Ability to work in a multi-priorities and challenging environment. Fluent in software development  lifecycle, tools and processes for development, build, release and operations. Prior Healthcareexperience is a plus Education: BA or BS degree.  Preferably in Computer Science or related field. 18002BS

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
